All Keys Lost in Taylor, Michigan

All keys lost is a different job than “make me a spare.” There is no working key to copy, the immobilizer has nothing it currently trusts in your pocket, and the vehicle may be locked, in a driveway, or sitting in a lot off Eureka or Telegraph.

The work is: identify the key system, confirm we can originate it, generate a correct blade, and program the vehicle to accept the new key or fob — or tell you when that path is not available.

What “all keys lost” actually means on the job

It means there is no remaining programmed key. A hidden spare in a drawer still counts as a key. If that spare exists, say so — the job gets simpler and usually cheaper.

It also means we may need to open the vehicle first if it is locked, then deal with the ignition or fob system second. Those are two steps, not one.

How origination usually goes

Confirm year, make, model, and that you have the right to the vehicle.

Determine whether the key is a metal key, transponder, laser-cut, or a proximity fob.

Look up the keyway and, when needed, the code.

Cut the blade. Program the chip or fob. Test start, lock, and unlock before leaving.

When all-keys-lost is not a mobile job

Some vehicles still require dealer programming, online module access, or parts we do not stock. Some need the vehicle towed. We will not invent a workaround that bricks an immobilizer or leaves you with a key that only works twice.

If you call with the vehicle details first, you will know whether to wait at the car or make a different plan.

Questions people actually ask

Do I need the title in hand?

We need a reasonable way to confirm the vehicle is yours — registration, title, matching ID, or the same documents you would show a dealer. We will not originate keys on a “my cousin said I could take it” story.

Can you do all keys lost at night?

Hours are 24/7. Night work is common for this job. Lighting, location, and the vehicle still have to allow the work to be done correctly.

Call. Have the year, make, and model if it is a car. Have the city if it is a house or shop. That is enough to start.
