How a key from scratch usually goes
Unlock the door. We use a Lishi lockpick on the door lock when that is the correct method for the truck.
Decode the door. The bitting from that lock is what lets us cut an ignition key that actually turns.
Cut and test the ignition key. If the door decode is not enough, we can decode the ignition itself and originate from that.
The tractor has to be present. A photo of a key ring or a VIN without the truck in front of us is not enough.
Replacement and programming when the system allows it
Keys from scratch are the specialty on Volvo and Freightliner. If a remaining key exists, replacement and programming of a spare is a different, usually simpler path — quoted from the year, make, and model.
We do not publish a list of every truck key or fob we can program. If the truck is not Volvo or Freightliner, say so on the call before anyone rolls.
What we need on the call
Year, make, and model. Volvo or Freightliner if that is what you have. Whether any key still exists, even a broken one. Where the truck is sitting — yard, shoulder, dock, or lot.
Proof it is your truck. We will not originate a key for a tractor we cannot tie to the person calling.
